But why be sad about having to pay more taxes when there is such overwhelming evidence that everything your government is spending money on is indeed fine or rather “great”—from Reuters on April 14:

“Secretary Rumsfeld’s energetic and steady leadership is exactly what is needed at this critical period. He has my full support and deepest appreciation,” said President Bush, who is at Camp David for the Easter weekend.

Asked why Bush felt the need to issue the statement, White House chief of staff Andy Card told Reuters: “The secretary of defense is being challenged and he is doing a great job, and the president said he is doing a great job.”

See? It’s all great! And come on, really, why moan about not getting a tax refund, I mean look at what else Reuters reports on April 14:

President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, paid $187,768 in federal income taxes for the year 2005 on a total income of $618,694, the White House said on Friday.

Vice President Dick Cheney and his wife, Lynne, reported taxable income for 2005 that was more than three times that of the Bushes, $1,961,157, on which they owe $529,636 in federal taxes.

I mean those folks OBVIOUSLY need some “tax relief” how could I have ever thought that making the Bush tax cuts permanent was a bad idea? Wow this Kool-Aid tastes yummy, what’s in it, again? Did I mention gay marriage is the greatest threat to this country ever? Yeah, I’ll have another glass, thank you. And it strikes me that no woman should ever be able to have an abortion even if she’s twelve and was raped by her uncle. Sure leave the pitcher on my desk here, I’ll finish the whole thing.

I’m gonna lie in the plastic grass now.
