Nightmare Before Christmas  |  Chicago Tribune “Kidnews” 12/21/93

An okay drawing but a weak effort, for which I now apologize. Sometimes you just fill the space as best you can.

Random waste of time and energy contemplative aside: Is Clay Aiken, this generation’s Barry Manilow?

www.davidfarre.com opines: Clay Aiken can only hope to be this generation’s Andy Williams. ¶ If he’s lucky he’ll be entertaining his prepubescent fan base—which, incidentally, will be the next generation of fag-hags—into their middle age in Branson or, if the trend continues, in a evangelicized Las Vegas. ¶ Manilow actually had talent. It just didn’t age well. ¶ Unlike Andy Williams and Clay, who have a timeless talentless quality.
